Description

H2BPDC-N3 (2-azidobiphenyl-4,4′-dicarboxylic acid) is a functionalized organic compound derived from biphenyl-4,4′-dicarboxylic acid (BPDC), with an azide group attached to the second position of the biphenyl ring. The carboxylic acid groups in H2BPDC-N3 can coordinate with metal ions to form coordination polymers or metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). The azide group can be used to further functionalize these frameworks or create hybrid materials with additional properties.
