HSPC/CHOL (55:45 mol/mol) Liposomes with Ammonium Sulfate Gradient (100nm), Lyophilized Powder have wide-ranging applications in drug delivery, gene therapy, and biomedical imaging. HSPC/CHOL liposomes are often used to encapsulate both hydrophilic and hydrophobic drugs, improving their solubility and stability. The ammonium sulfate gradient is particularly beneficial for encapsulating hydrophilic or charged compounds, such as anticancer drugs, antibiotics, and antiviral agents. In addition, liposomes are often used as carriers for contrast agents in medical imaging. The HSPC/CHOL liposome formulation, with its ability to encapsulate both hydrophilic and hydrophobic agents, can be used to deliver imaging agents such as gadolinium or perfluorocarbons for MRI or ultrasound, respectively. This helps improve the resolution of imaging techniques, allowing for more precise diagnosis.
