Description

HSPC/CHOL (55:45 mol/mol) Liposomes with Ammonium Sulfate Gradient (100nm) can be used as drug delivery vehicles for encapsulating hydrophilic drugs within the ammonium sulfate gradient and hydrophobic drugs within the lipid bilayer. The size and composition of the liposomes can be optimized to enhance drug encapsulation efficiency, stability, and targeting capabilities. Additionally, the use of an osmotic gradient created by ammonium sulfate can promote the release of encapsulated cargo within cells. This property is particularly useful for intracellular delivery of therapeutic agents, such as nucleic acids or proteins, to target specific cellular pathways or organelles.
