Description

HSPC/Chol/DSPE-mPEG2000 (56.2/38.5/5.3, mol/mol) Liposomes, Lyophilized Powder refer to liposomes formed from hydrogenated soy phosphatidylcholine (HSPC), cholesterol (Chol), and a polyethylene glycol-conjugated lipid, DSPE-mPEG2000 (distearoylphosphatidylethanolamine-polyethylene glycol 2000). These liposomes are widely used to encapsulate chemotherapeutic agents (e.g., doxorubicin) for targeted delivery to tumor sites. The PEGylation minimizes immune recognition, allowing passive accumulation in tumors through the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect. Besides, liposomes can simultaneously encapsulate imaging agents (e.g., fluorescent dyes, radioisotopes) and therapeutic drugs for combined diagnostics and therapy, enabling real-time monitoring of treatment efficacy.
