Description

Immunoliposomes-Folate (PEGylated), Lyophilized Powder combines multiple cutting-edge technologies, including liposomal encapsulation, polyethylene glycol (PEG) modification, and folate-based targeting, to achieve selective and efficient delivery of therapeutic or diagnostic agents. Immunoliposomes are an enhanced form of liposomes, further functionalized with targeting ligands or antibodies, allowing precise delivery to specific cells or tissues. The inclusion of folate as a targeting ligand takes advantage of the overexpression of folate receptors on the surface of many cancer cells. By exploiting this natural receptor-ligand interaction, immunoliposomes conjugated with folate can selectively bind to and enter folate receptor-positive cells, minimizing off-target effects and increasing therapeutic efficacy.
