Description

Lysozyme, Cy7 Labeled (Lysozyme Cyanine 7, Cy7-Lysozyme) refers to lysozyme that has been labeled with Cy7, a near-infrared fluorescent dye. Lysozymes are a family of catlytic enzymes which damage bacterial cell walls by catalyzing hydrolysis of 1,4-beta-linkages between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues. Lysozyme is also known as muramidase or N-acetylmuramide glycanhydrolase. Cy7 labeled lysozyme is a near infrared fluorescent lysozyme conjugate that has excitation/emission wavelength at 743/767 nm.
