m-PEG24-DBCO is a monodisperse PEG reagents which can enable copper-free Click Chemistry through the reaction of DBCO with azide. The PEG segment imparts water solubility to the molecule, facilitating its handling and use in biological applications. PEG is also known for its biocompatibility, which reduces the likelihood of immune response or toxicity when used in vivo. The DBCO group provides a site for further chemical modification via bioorthogonal click chemistry. This enables the conjugation of various biomolecules, drugs, or imaging agents for targeted delivery, imaging, or diagnostic purposes.
