Description

MAL-PEG-SVA (Maleimide-PEG-Succinimidyl Valerate) is an amine reactive PEG polymer with a terminal maleimide which is reactive with thiol via thioether bond formation. It can be used to label proteins or peptides containing thiol groups. The maleimide group selectively reacts with thiol groups, while the succinimidyl valerate reacts with primary amines on proteins, forming stable covalent bonds.
