Description

MC-Val-Cit-PAB-Exatecan is evaluated in preclinical studies and clinical trials for the treatment of various cancers, including breast cancer, lung cancer, and hematological malignancies. Exatecan is a cytotoxic drug belonging to the class of camptothecin derivatives. It inhibits DNA topoisomerase I, leading to DNA damage and cell death. Exatecan is conjugated to the antibody through the PAB linker and is released upon cleavage of the linker within the target cancer cells.
