Methyltetrazine-PEG2-DBCO is a compound consisting of three main components: methyltetrazine, polyethylene glycol (PEG) with a length of 2 units, and dibenzylcyclooctyne (DBCO). Methyltetrazine is a highly reactive dienophile that participates in the bioorthogonal inverse-electron-demand Diels-Alder (IEDDA) reaction with strained alkenes, such as trans-cyclooctene (TCO) or dibenzylcyclooctyne (DBCO).
