Description

Methyltetrazine-Sulfo-NHS ester is a water-soluble amine-reactive membrane impermeable labeling reagent. Methyltetrazine selectively reacts with trans-cyclooctene (TCO) or tetrazine-functionalized molecules through a rapid and highly specific cycloaddition reaction. Sulfo-NHS esters react specifically with primary amines (-NH2) on biomolecules, such as lysine residues in proteins or the N-terminus of peptides, to form stable amide bonds.
