Description

N-(Fmoc-N-amido-PEG4)-N-Biotin-PEG4-t-Boc-Hydrazide allows for solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) of biotinylated peptides. The Fmoc protecting group can be selectively removed under mild conditions to expose the amine for further peptide elongation or conjugation. PEG4 refers to a PEG spacer with four ethylene glycol units, terminated with a tert-butyloxycarbonyl (Boc) protected hydrazide functional group. The Boc group is used to protect the hydrazide from premature reaction.
