Description

N-(m-PEG4)-N’-(DBCO-PEG4)-Cy5 is a Cy5 labeled fluorescent PEG linker containinig DBCO group, which reacts with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules to form a stable triazole linkage without copper catalyst. Cy5 is a commonly used fluorophore with emission properties in the near-infrared (NIR) range. It is often utilized in bioimaging and fluorescence-based applications. DBCO is known for its reactivity in copper-free click chemistry reactions, specifically in copper-free azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC). Cy5 serves as a fluorescent dye with emission properties in the near-infrared range. This is advantageous for bioimaging due to reduced background fluorescence and enhanced tissue penetration.
