N-(Propargyl-PEG2)-DBCO-PEG3-N-Boc is a click chemistry reagent that is composed of Propargyl, DBCO, PEG and N-Boc. Propargyl is a functional group containing a triple bond (C≡C) and is commonly used in click chemistry reactions, such as copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC). DBCO is known for its bioorthogonal click chemistry reaction with molecules containing strained alkynes, such as azides or trans-cyclooctene (TCO). The N-Boc (tert-butoxycarbonyl) group is a protecting group often used in organic synthesis. It can be selectively removed under specific conditions to reveal the original functional group.
