Description

N3-PEG-NH2 (Azide-PEG-Amine, Azido-PEG-Amine) is a heterobifunctional azide PEG amine product used in click chemistry, often used as a crosslinker or as a spacer between two different chemical entities. Azides can be reacted with terminal alkynes for copper-catalyzed click chemistry or with DBCO/BCN for copper-free click chemistry. The amine group reacts with the activated NHS ester to form a stable amide bond. The PEG moiety in the heterofunctional PEG derivatives provides water solubility, biocompatibility and flexibility. Applications are particularly suitable for the development of antibody drug conjugates (ADCs).
