Description

N3-PEG-NHS (Azide-PEG-NHS) can be used to develop drug conjugates by attaching drugs to proteins, peptides, or other targeting molecules via click chemistry. The PEG chain improves the pharmacokinetic properties of the drug, such as solubility and half-life. In addition, nanoparticles can be modified with N₃-PEG-NHS to improve their stability, biocompatibility, and targeting capabilities. The azide group allows for the attachment of targeting ligands or other functional molecules via click chemistry, and the NHS ester can attach to proteins or other biomolecules.
