N6-(6-Aminohexyl)-ATP-Biotin (N6-(6-Aminohexyl)-adenosine-5′-triphosphate-Biotin, Triethylammonium salt) is a biotinylated ATP analog that incorporates a hexylamine spacer at the N6 position of the adenine ring. This biotinylated nucleotide can be incorporated into PCR products, producing labeled DNA that can be easily detected or purified through streptavidin binding, thus streamlining workflows in high-throughput experiments. In in vitro transcription systems, N6-(6-Aminohexyl)-ATP-Biotin can label RNA transcripts, which is vital for experiments that require identification and isolation of specific RNA molecules.
