Description

Neutral Fluoroliposome-Cyanine 5 lipid-Azide, Lyophilized Powder can be used in in vivo biodistribution studies to understand how liposomes travel through the body after administration. The far-red fluorescence of Cy5 allows for non-invasive tracking of the liposomes using optical imaging techniques, such as fluorescence imaging or near-infrared imaging. Beyond, cyanine 5 fluorescence makes this liposomal formulation ideal for tumor imaging. With the ability to functionalize the liposome’s surface via bioorthogonal conjugation, researchers can attach tumor-specific antibodies or ligands targeting cell surface markers overexpressed on cancer cells.
