Neutral Fluoroliposome-Dansyl lipid-Azide, Lyophilized Powder is a multifunctional nanocarrier designed for applications in fluorescence imaging, biochemical studies, and bioorthogonal chemistry. Dansyl (5-dimethylaminonaphthalene-1-sulfonyl) is a fluorescent probe that provides bright emission in the visible spectrum, allowing sensitive detection of liposome dynamics and interactions. The azide group enables bioorthogonal reactivity, allowing site-specific conjugation with alkyne-functionalized molecules through copper-catalyzed or strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC). The neutral liposomal surface minimizes non-specific interactions, enhancing stability in physiological conditions and extending circulation time in vivo.
