Description

Neutral Fluoroliposome-DiD-Azide, Lyophilized Powder can be combined with other imaging modalities, such as MRI, PET, or CT, to create a multimodal imaging system. For example, liposomes could be co-loaded with contrast agents or radiolabeled for use in magnetic resonance or positron emission tomography imaging. This provides more detailed information about the liposome’s behavior in vivo. Other than that, the azide group allows for efficient, specific conjugation of targeting ligands, antibodies, or small molecules using click chemistry. This enables the liposome to be functionalized with specific peptides or antibodies that target receptors overexpressed on tumor cells or inflamed tissue.
