Description

Neutral Fluoroliposome-DiR-DBCO, Lyophilized Powder is designed for applications in targeted drug delivery, bio-conjugation, and in vivo imaging, enabling real-time monitoring of liposome behavior, precise targeting, and effective therapy. The liposome is composed of neutral lipids (e.g., DOPC, DOPE), which ensure that the liposome has a neutral charge. This minimizes non-specific interactions with cells or proteins in the bloodstream, resulting in enhanced circulation time and reduced immune clearance. DiR (1,1′-dioctadecyl-3,3,3′,3′-tetramethylindocarbocyanine iodide) is a lipophilic, near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent dye used to label the liposome. The DiR dye emits light in the near-infrared range, which offers several advantages for in vivo imaging, including deeper tissue penetration and reduced interference from autofluorescence in biological tissues. The DBCO group allows for efficient and selective conjugation with azide-modified molecules, such as targeting ligands, antibodies, or drugs, enabling targeted delivery of therapeutic agents to specific cells or tissues.
