Neutral L-alpha-PC/CHOL Fluorescent Liposome, Pyrene lipid (headgroup) Labeled refers to liposomes primarily composed of a neutral mixture of lipids, including L-alpha-phosphatidylcholine (L-alpha-PC) and cholesterol (CHOL) which are labeled with the fluorescent compound Pyrene on the headgroups. Pyrene is a hydrophobic, polycyclic aromatic compound that exhibits natural fluorescence. The Pyrene label enables these liposomes to be used in fluorescence-based experiments for tracking lipid dynamics, lipid-lipid interactions, and membrane properties.
