Description

NHS-dPEG®12-biotin is a biotinylated compound that incorporates a twelve-unit polyethylene glycol (dPEG) spacer with an NHS (N-hydroxysuccinimide) ester. NHS Ester reacts specifically with primary amines to form stable amide bonds, enabling straightforward conjugation to proteins, peptides, and other biomolecules. dPEG spacer provides enhanced solubility, reduced non-specific interactions, and increased flexibility, improving overall reaction efficiency. Biotin tag enables strong binding to streptavidin or avidin for detection and purification applications.
