Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Nanospheres-Modified Graphitic Carbon Nitride can be used in photothermal therapy. The composite’s high surface area and ability to absorb and convert light efficiently allow for localized heating in response to light exposure. The composite material can be functionalized with targeting agents to ensure selective delivery to cancerous tissues, providing a non-invasive therapeutic approach for cancer treatment. N-CNS/g-C3N4 composites are also valuable in organic synthesis, particularly in photocatalytic reactions that are used to form fine chemicals. The photocatalytic properties of g-C3N4, enhanced by the nitrogen-doped carbon nanospheres, make the composite an ideal candidate for the activation of various organic molecules under mild conditions.
