Description

Oligo(phenylene ethynylene)-Tetrazine (OPE-Tetrazine) is composed of an oligo(phenylene ethynylene) backbone, which consists of alternating phenyl (benzene) rings and ethynyl (C≡C) linkages. OPE-Tetrazine can be used in the development of molecular wires or conductive materials. The conjugated OPE backbone allows for electron transport, while the tetrazine ring can modulate the electronic properties of the material. This makes it a candidate for use in nanoscale electronic devices, such as single-molecule transistors or diodes.
