Description

Pam3CSK4-Biotin (Pam3Cys-Ser-(Lys)4-Biotin) is a biochemical conjugate consisting of Pam3CSK4, a synthetic triacylated lipopeptide, linked to biotin. Pam3CSK4 is a synthetic lipopeptide derived from bacterial lipoproteins. It consists of a triacylated lipopeptide moiety linked to a cysteine residue and a lysine residue. The lipid part of Pam3CSK4 mimics bacterial lipids and serves as a ligand for Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2) in mammals. Pam3CSK4-Biotin is used to study Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2) signaling pathways. TLR2 is a key receptor involved in recognizing bacterial lipopeptides and initiating innate immune responses. By labeling Pam3CSK4 with biotin, researchers can study its interactions with TLR2 and downstream signaling molecules.
