Description

PDLLA-PEG-N3 (Poly(D,L-lactide)-b-poly(ethylene glycol)-azide) can be functionalized with imaging agents, such as fluorescent dyes or magnetic nanoparticles, for biomedical imaging applications. By conjugating these imaging probes to the copolymer via click chemistry, PDLLA-PEG-N3 can be used as contrast agents for various imaging modalities, including fluorescence imaging, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and positron emission tomography (PET). This enables real-time visualization and tracking of the distribution, biodistribution, and cellular uptake of PDLLA-PEG-N3-based drug delivery systems or tissue engineering constructs in vivo.
