PDLLA-PEG-PDLLA Diacrylate (Poly(D,L-lactide-block-poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(D,L-lactide diacrylate) can be applied as coatings on medical devices or implants to improve their biocompatibility and performance. The hydrophilic PEG blocks reduce protein adsorption and minimize the foreign body response, while the crosslinked PDLLA diacrylate blocks enhance the adhesion and stability of the coatings.
