Description

PEG(-N3)-b-PtBMA is a block copolymer with both hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties, combined with an azide group for click chemistry. Its applications include drug delivery, nanoparticle formation, bioorthogonal chemistry, imaging and diagnostics, materials science, and surface coatings. PtBMA is a hydrophobic polymer derived from the polymerization of tert-butyl methacrylate. It has a bulky tert-butyl ester group attached to the methacrylate backbone. PtBMA provides hydrophobicity and can be used to create self-assembled structures or to control the release of hydrophobic substances.
