Description

PEG-PBLA-N3 can be linked to to sensing molecules or devices to develop sensors that detect specific analytes based on changes in the optical properties or chemical reactivity of the PBLA core. This can be useful for environmental monitoring, medical diagnostics, or chemical analysis. Additionally, PBLA, with its porphyrin-like structure, can be used in photodynamic therapy. By conjugating PEG-PBLA-N3 with photosensitizers, researchers can develop PDT agents that, upon light activation, generate reactive oxygen species to target and kill cancer cells or pathogens.
