Description

PG-based Fluoroliposome Containing Encapsulated Dextran-pHrodo-Green, Lyophilized Powder is highly applicable in cancer research and therapy due to their ability to target acidic tumor microenvironments. pHrodo Green’s fluorescence properties make it a useful tool for non-invasive tumor imaging. As liposomes accumulate in tumors, they encounter the acidic microenvironment, resulting in a fluorescence increase that can be visualized using fluorescence microscopy or in vivo imaging techniques. Functionalizing the liposomes with targeting ligands (e.g., antibodies, peptides) can improve the specificity of the liposomes for tumor cells. The fluorescence of pHrodo Green can be used to monitor targeting efficiency and assess tumor penetration.
