Description

PG-based Fluoroliposome Containing Encapsulated Dextran-Rhodamine B, Lyophilized Powder can be used to study the mechanism of cellular uptake and intracellular trafficking. The anionic nature of PG liposomes allows for efficient interaction with positively charged components of the cellular membrane. The red fluorescence from Rhodamine B enables tracking of liposome uptake by cells. People can study the process of endocytosis and the intracellular trafficking of liposomes, including their journey to the endosome or lysosome and potential drug release. PG-based liposomes are also useful for studying endosomal escape mechanisms. The encapsulated Dextran-Rhodamine B can help visualize the liposome’s ability to escape from the endosome and release the payload into the cytoplasm, a critical process for drug delivery.
