PGMA (Poly(Glycidyl Methacrylate)) is a versatile polymer derived from the polymerization of glycidyl methacrylate (GMA). PGMA’s epoxy groups can be used to attach drugs or bioactive molecules, allowing for controlled release and targeted delivery. This is particularly useful for delivering therapeutic agents in a sustained manner. PGMA can also be used to create scaffolds for tissue engineering.
