Description

PLGA-PEG-N3 (PLGA-PEG-Azide, Poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide)-b-Poly(ethylene glycol)-Azide) can be used to create biodegradable scaffolds for tissue engineering. The azide group allows for further modification of the scaffold surface to enhance cell attachment, proliferation, and differentiation by conjugating with bioactive molecules or peptides. Other than that, the azide functionality allows for the attachment of fluorescent dyes or contrast agents to PLGA-PEG-N3 nanoparticles, making them useful for imaging applications, including fluorescence imaging, MRI, and PET scans.
