Description

PLL-g-PEG-N3 (Poly-L-Lysine graft PEG-azide / N3-PEG-grafted-PLL / N3-PEG-g-PLL) can be used to modify surfaces, such as tissue culture plates or medical devices, to improve cell adhesion or reduce non-specific binding. The PEG chain reduces protein adsorption, while the azide group allows for click chemistry-based surface functionalization. Additionally, the azide group can be used in immunoassays to attach antibodies, antigens, or other reagents through click chemistry. The PEG chain improves the performance of the assay by reducing non-specific interactions. PLL is known for its ability to condense DNA into nanoparticles for gene delivery. The addition of PEG and azide groups allows for improved stability and targeting of gene delivery systems.
