Description

Poly(N,N-diisopropylaminoethyl methacrylate) is a pH-sensitive polymer, exhibiting a lower critical solution temperature (LCST) behavior. Below a certain pH (known as the lower critical solution temperature), the polymer is hydrophilic and soluble in water. However, as the pH increases beyond the LCST, the polymer becomes hydrophobic and precipitates out of solution. This property makes PDPAEMA suitable for various pH-responsive applications.
