POPE/POPS/POPC Liposomes, Carboxyfluorescein Encapsulated refers to liposomes composed of a mixture of three types of phospholipids: 1-palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (POPE), 1-palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phospho-L-serine (POPS), and 1-palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (POPC). These liposomes are loaded with the fluorescent compound Carboxyfluorescein. The green fluorescence of Carboxyfluorescein makes these liposomes valuable for fluorescence-based imaging studies. They can be used to visualize and study cellular interactions and liposome uptake.
