Description

Porous N-Doped Carbon Nanospheres with Encapsulated Cobalt Nanocrystals are highly effective in ORR, an important process for fuel cells and metal-air batteries. The nitrogen-doped carbon matrix, along with encapsulated cobalt nanocrystals, provides excellent catalytic activity and stability, making them suitable alternatives to precious metal-based catalysts like platinum. Co@N-C nanospheres, due to their high surface area, mesoporosity, and electronic conductivity, are also ideal candidates for use in supercapacitors, where they provide high specific capacitance and fast charge/discharge rates.
