Positively DOTAP-Based Fluorescent Liposome, DiD Labeled refers to a liposomal nanoparticle system composed primarily of cationic DOTAP lipids and labeled with the fluorescent dye DiD (1,1′-Dioctadecyl-3,3,3′,3′-Tetramethylindodicarbocyanine, 4-Chlorobenzenesulfonate Salt). DiD is a near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent dye that is often used for labeling liposomes and cellular structures. This combination is suitable for tracking and visualizing liposomes in living organisms, including deep tissue applications.
