Description

PS-based Fluoroliposome Containing Encapsulated Dextran-Fluorescein, Lyophilized Powder is composed primarily of phosphatidylserine (PS), a naturally occurring phospholipid with a unique role in cell signaling and membrane structure. PS-based liposomes, in particular, are known for their interaction with specific receptors in the body, making them effective for targeted drug delivery and imaging applications. When these liposomes are encapsulated with dextran-fluorescein (a combination of the polysaccharide dextran and the fluorescent dye fluorescein), they can be utilized in a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic processes. Dextran is a biocompatible and hydrophilic polysaccharide often used to enhance the stability and solubility of molecules in aqueous environments. Fluorescein, a green-fluorescent dye, serves as an excellent marker for tracking and imaging the liposomes in biological settings.
