Description

Pyrene-PEG-Biotin can be used as a fluorescent probe in DNA or RNA hybridization studies. Biotin can be attached to oligonucleotide probes, allowing specific binding to complementary target sequences. Pyrene’s fluorescence properties provide a sensitive readout for detecting hybridization events. It can also participate in FRET studies to investigate protein-protein interactions. By attaching Pyrene-PEG-Biotin to proteins of interest and using a suitable acceptor fluorophore, FRET can be utilized to monitor conformational changes or interactions in real-time.
