PyTTA-BPDA COF refers to a covalent organic framework (COF) synthesized from the monomers PyTTA and BPDA. PyTTA stands for pyridine-terminated triptycene amine. Triptycene is a tricyclic aromatic hydrocarbon known for its unique structure, and pyridine is a heterocyclic compound containing a nitrogen atom in the ring. PDA stands for benzene-1,4-dicarbaldehyde. It is a benzene derivative with two aldehyde functional groups. BPDA is another building block used in the synthesis of the COF.
