Description

RB-PEG-NH2 (Rhodamine-PEG-Amine, RhB-PEG-NH2) consists of rhodamine, a polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacer, and an amine group (NH2). Rhodamine is a fluorescent dye known for its bright and intense fluorescence emission in the red to orange range when excited by an appropriate wavelength of light. Rhodamine dyes are widely used in molecular and cellular biology to label and visualize various biomolecules, cells, and tissues. The amine functional group (-NH2) consists of a nitrogen atom bonded to two hydrogen atoms. Amines are chemically reactive and can participate in various bioconjugation reactions, including amidation or Schiff base formation.
