Surface Reactive Doxorubicin Liposomes-DBCO (PEGylated) (Post-insertion), Lyophilized Powder is an excellent candidate for personalized medicine. Surface-reactive liposomes can be engineered to target specific genetic markers or mutations unique to an individual patient’s cancer, enhancing the precision and effectiveness of therapy. In addition, by using copper-free click chemistry, the DBCO group on the surface can be utilized for the attachment of targeting molecules (e.g., antibodies, small molecules, peptides) that recognize specific markers on the surface of tumor cells or tissues. This targeted approach enhances the accumulation of the drug at the disease site, such as in tumors, while minimizing off-target effects.
