Description

t-Boc-Aminooxy-PEG1-amine is applied for site-specific bioconjugation and functionalization of biomolecules and surfaces, enabling a wide range of applications in biomedical research, diagnostics, and therapeutics. The aminooxy group (-ONH2) is a functional group that reacts selectively with aldehydes and ketones to form stable oxime linkages. The amine group (-NH2) serves as a reactive handle for further bioconjugation reactions. Amines can react with various functional groups, such as NHS esters, maleimides, or activated carboxylic acids, allowing for the attachment of additional molecules or labels. The t-Boc group protects the amine group from unwanted reactions during synthesis.
