Description

t-Boc-aminooxy-PEG5-propargyl is a click chemistry PEG linker with a t-Boc-aminooxy group. The t-Boc aminooxy group can be deprotected under mild acidic conditions and then can react with an aldehyde or ketone group to form a stable oxime linkage. The propargyl group can react with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules via copper catalyzed azide-alkyne Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. This compound can be utilized for the site-specific labeling and modification of proteins. By conjugating the compound to reactive sites on proteins, such as lysine residues or glycans, it allows for the introduction of various functional groups or reporter molecules for downstream applications such as protein purification, detection, and imaging.
