TPB-BPTA COF refers to a covalent organic framework (COF) constructed from tetrakis(4-bromophenyl)methane (TPB) and 4,4′,4″,4‴-(1,3,5,7-tetraphenyladamantane-1,3,5,7-tetrayl)tetrabenzoic acid (BPTA) building blocks. COFs are porous crystalline materials with high surface areas and tunable pore sizes, synthesized through the covalent linkage of organic building blocks. COFs are known for their high porosity and surface area, making them promising candidates for gas storage and separation applications. TPB-BPTA COF's well-defined pores and tailored functionalities could enable efficient adsorption and separation of gases such as hydrogen, methane, or carbon dioxide.
