Description

Tri(1,2,4,5-tetrazine-3-ly)amine is a compound where an amine group is substituted with three 1,2,4,5-tetrazine rings. Due to the presence of three reactive tetrazine groups, tri(1,2,4,5-tetrazine-3-yl)amine can simultaneously react with multiple strained alkenes or alkynes. This allows for the construction of multivalent conjugates, which can be used to increase the avidity in molecular recognition processes, such as binding to multivalent receptors on cell surfaces.
