Description

Tz-PEG-NODA (Tetrazine-PEG-NODA) is a compound that integrates a tetrazine group with a polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacer and a NODA (1,4,7-Triazacyclononane-1,4-diacetic acid) chelator. The NODA group can coordinate with various metal ions, such as gadolinium (Gd) or radiometals like copper-64 (Cu-64) or gallium-68 (Ga-68), making it useful for imaging and therapeutic purposes. Tz-PEG-NODA can be used for live-cell imaging studies where specific labeling and imaging of biomolecules or cellular structures are required. The PEG spacer enhances solubility and reduces non-specific binding. In addition, by coordinating with radiometals like copper-64 or gallium-68, Tz-PEG-NODA can be used to develop positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agents. These radiolabeled conjugates allow for high-resolution imaging of biological processes.
