Description

Lysozyme, Rhodamine Labeled (Lysozyme, Rhodamine B Labeled) is one of fluorescent lysozyme conjugates. Lysozymes are a family of catlytic enzymes which damage bacterial cell walls by catalyzing hydrolysis of 1,4-beta-linkages between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues. Lysozyme is also known as muramidase or N-acetylmuramide glycanhydrolase. Rhodamine B labeled lysozyme is a red fluorescent lysozyme conjugate that has excitation/emission wavelength at 544/576 nm. This Rhodamine B lysozyme can be easily detected by fluorescent instruments in Rhodamine channel. It is purified by size chromatography to remove non-conjugated molecules and ensure adequate applications both in-vitro and in-vivo.
